Chelsea Football Club are reportedly set to give a new contract to Brazil’s center back, Thiago Silva who will be out of his contract at the end of the season (2021/22).

Transfer News expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on his official Twitter account. According to the tweet, the board and Thomas Tuchel are happy with Silva’s performance off and on the pitch. The 36-year-old is also enjoying his time at Chelsea and he is happy at the club.
Silva joined Chelsea as a free agent in the 2020/21 season under former Blues’ manager, Frank Lampard. He was a key part of the Chelsea team that won the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Super League at the expense of Manchester City and Villarreal, respectively.
