Nigerian-British rapper Dave leads the 2021 Mobo Awards Nomination List, scheduled to be held in December.

Nigerian-British prolific rapper, songwriter, and performer, David Orobosa Omoregie, popularly known as Dave, racked up the most nominations for the 2021 MOBO Awards.
The 23-year old rapper bagged a total of five nominations for the prestigious award, including Album, Song, and Video of the Year, along with Best Male Act and Best Hip-Hop Act. Trailing Dave on the list are Ghetts, Little Simz, and Arlo Parks.
The MOBO Awards is an annual British awards ceremony that celebrates achievements in “music of black origin“. The show honors the best of the best in Hip-Hop, Grime, R&B, Soul, Reggae, Jazz, Gospel, and African music.
This year’s edition will be held at Coventry’s CBS Arena on Sunday, December 5th, 2021.
Nigerian singers Wizkid and Rema were also nominated in the Best International Act category, which also includes the likes of Drake, Kanye West, Lil Nas X, and Megan Thee Stallion.
