The English Football Association has charged Chelsea Football Club with two counts of failing to control their players in their Premier League game against Liverpool. The game was played on Sunday, August 29th, 2021 at the Anfield Stadium. The game ended 1-1 between the Blues and the Reds.

Chelsea players had all their emotions over the place after referee Anthony Taylor sent off the Blues defender, Reece James. The Blues had the feeling that the ball deflected off the defender’s thigh onto his arm.
The FA in a statement released on Wednesday, September 1st, 2021. The Association has given Chelsea until Friday, September 3rd, 2021, to respond to the charges, according to reports from Sky Sports.
Chelsea FC has been charged with two breaches of FA Rule E20.1 following their Premier League fixture against Liverpool on Saturday. It is alleged that Chelsea FC failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion during the 48th minute of the first half, following the half-time whistle.
Chelsea FC has until Friday to provide a response to this charge.
The Blues left Anfield with a point despite the pressure from Liverpool in the second half.
