Prolific Nigerian songstress Tiwa Savage has announced the death of her father after a long term illness.
The singer, songwriter, and performer took to her Instagram page today, 19th of July 2021, to announce the passing of her dad, whom she said fought till the very end after years of sickness. She wrote:
Early hours of this morning you made a peaceful transition. You fought till the very end, you really fought daddy, it’s been rough for you these past couple years but you are resting now. This is tough on me, I’m so numb, so weak.

This comes a few weeks after Tiwa Savage lost a close friend, Obama DMW, who died as a result of a heart-related ailment. We wish Tiwa strength from above to bear the loss and may his soul rest well.
