Nigerian singer, Sinach becomes the first African and Black artiste to be on the American Billboard for number one spot on the Christian Songwriters’ category.
She achieved this feat with “Way Maker”, her biggest song and arguably the biggest Nigerian song ever.
The news was shared by the gospel artiste on Instagram who also revealed that the song ‘Way Maker’ has maintained the number one position for the past 7 weeks without her even knowing it and the good news was recently brought to her attention.
She said: So apparently We have been No 1 on billboard USA for Christian song writer for 7 weeks !! Look at God!! First Black person ??????
