Top songs never stop because the music grind never stops, which means every week we’ll definitely see brand new songs released from every corner of Africa and that includes Ghana, and from some of our favorite artists such as Sarkodie, KiDi, Shatta Wale and so on, as well as new cats looking to catch their big break.
This past week saw a King Sark drop, an acoustic version of a popular hit single, a Coronavirus themed joint, and more.

Sarkodie ft. King Promise – Anadwo
Africa’s most decorated rapper Sarkodie continues with the stream of content from his late 2019 album Black Love. This time around, he delivers the official video to his smooth smooth collaboration with King Promise, titled “Anadwo”. With a stunning lead model, the Visionniare Pictures directed visuals bring to life to the laid-back tune on matters of the heart.
Shatta Wale – Destiny (High Supremacy Riddim)
It looks like a week doesn’t pass without controversial dancehall singer Shatta Wale dropping something new. This time, he dished out his own rendition of a popular dancehall joint titled “High Supremacy Riddim”. He titled his own cover version “Destiny”, as he waxed lyrical with promises to his love interest.
KiDi – Enjoyment (Acoustic)
Lynx Entertainment singer KiDi doubled up on his last release “Enjoyment” by providing a different rendition of the same joint, an acoustic version. Here the star singer delivers a slower, more laid back, and romantic version of the song, turning the hit song into a mellow ballad in a live studio session. We need more of these!
Adina ft. Stonebwoy – Take Care Of You
This week’s Top Ghana songs have Ghanaian songstress Adina teamed up with Ghanaian dancehall titan Stonebwoy to deliver this tune titled “Take Care Of You”. The duo trade verses on the sweet StreetBeatz produced afrobeat tune, and the “godfather” Reggie Rockstone makes a cameo appearance in the sleek accompanying visuals.
Tulenkey – Corona
This past week Ghanaian rapper Tulenkey dished out a tune suitable for the times. The song is titled “Corona”, and it’s a cover version of rapper Bosom P-Yung’s viral hit “Atta Adwoa”. The rapper aired out his woes on the Coronavirus, speaking on how the virus has affected businesses, but more especially musicians who survive on bookings, etc.
