Wizkid - Joro

Wizkid

After waiting several months for Afrobeats star Wizkid to drop a single in 2019, he later satisfied the urges of his (thirsty) fans when he dropped a single Ghetto Love. A music video followed suit and although some music lovers held the notion that the song wasn’t what they expected at all, the video has since garnered more than 2 million views on YouTube. Wizkid is set to drop a new single Joro on October 1st.

Since last year, Wizkid has been teasing a new album Made In Lagos and many of his fans have been waiting excitedly. According to the singer, the Made In Lagos album is special to him as he has been working on it for sometime now. The Fever crooner has released two studio albums including Superstar, Ayo as well as a mixtape Sounds From The Other Side. In recent times, he has collaborated with various acts such as Tiwa Savage, Mutay, Duncan Mighty, Kojo Funds, Olamide, and more. Sometime in late 2018, he dropped two singles Fever and Master Groove.

It is believed that Wizkid has been finding it difficult to drop a new song or project because of his deal with RCA records. However, the singer would release his third studio album Made In Lagos under the label. His upcoming single Joro will be officially released on Beats 1 premiere with Old man Ebro on Monday, September 30th. The anticipation for Joro has been wild as Wizkid has been dropping hints on his social media pages including the artwork and a snippet of the video.
