M.I – Fast Money Fast Cars

This will be the last song I will post from MI’s album. No more MI tracks on here until Illegal Music drops in 2009… Just so the man can move huge numbers on Gidi streets…

Shouts to Khanye for the pic!

  1. Omgoodness who is on the hook? that's what i want to know. they're burning dis place up! the beat is too distracting on the verse. that sample shuda gone off during the verses. makes it hard to listen to the lyrics, and MI's all about the lyrics.

  2. Ok. i went back. restarted. and still stik w/ what i said. kill that screwed up stuff on d verses. cuz dem some ill ass verses and we shdnt b concentrating to listen.

I feel the song was a little bit distractive compared to Nigerian tunes were familiar with. However as artist grow, they like to take risks, try new sounds, so maybe thats why he took this southern style route.

  5. Oh don't get me wrong oh, i think the beat is PERFECT for the verse. but once the verses kick in…the sample/screwed vocal's kinda off.

I bought the album when i went to naija this past xmas, and all i can say is WOW…. i wuz really really impressed, i live in the south of USA so i'm really into the screwed beats and it's amazing to see a naija artist incorporate it into their music, it just shows different peeps get inspiration from different avenues. shout out to whiz kid also, the hook is addictive for real and to Kraft for the killer beat.
